The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog, and I decided to publish it as usual. It’s been a good year although I made another decision — to write a post only when I had something to say, to avoid repetition. But the viewing numbers have been fairly good, despite that. I promise to write more regularly this year. Thanks for continuing to read the blog, and special thanks to those who have commented on my posts. The most active commenters are mentioned in the complete report (see below)
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 6,400 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people. There were 52 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 3 MB. That’s about 4 pictures per month. The busiest day of the year was February 11th with 246 views. The most popular post that day was Schapelle Corby: A tale of media madness.
